“Goodnight Music Lover”: A Novel

Gigi Wright is about to bear it all.  She just ran into her bestie from college, Tack, kickin’ back at her favorite happy hour.  He’s the guy who knows her. And he’s heard everything–and then some–about her love life.  But Gigi never told Tack about the one who got away–Zach–an impetuous, edgy,  photographer she met traveling abroad after college.  It was a meet-up that rocked her world and it’s the closest she’s ever been to true love.

But now, Tack wants to know, “What happened?” Because, of course, Gigi’s still hopelessly single!  A beguiling picture of Zach unfolds–“he’s just not the same as all the other guys.'” Tack insists, “Gotta let go. Try online!” Gigi dares to take his advice and go for it. But, one wrecked date after another and she’s had it. WTF? Is her “love mojo” lost for good? Gigi faces her toughest decision of all, when–out  of the blue–Zach shows up at the local coffee shop and just wants to catch up on old times.
