A Short Dramedy

Logline:  A funky rocker dude who’s living on the edge has an unexpected encounter that makes him question everything he thought he knew about love.

Synopsis:  Drex is a funky rocker-dude who’s living on the edge. Wracked by indiscretions, he’s grappling to get over the one who got away.  He’s not sure where he is–in love and in life. One night, after a blow-out bender, his predicament deepens when he finds himself in the company of a girl he’s never met–and is not sure he wants to get to know.  

The encounter becomes a subtle battle of wills. She just wants the night to herself, and eventually–he wants her.  As the night goes on, they brashly delve into each other’s pasts and Drex wonders if he’ll ever find the solution to the irksome dilemma of love.

Zebedee Row is an Australian-born actor who’s currently pursuing his career in New York.  He is a multifaceted artist with a broad understanding of ensemble acting and an uncanny ability to discover the singularity of his characters.   He attended the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NY and has worked on a variety of projects including short films, music videos, and narrative features.  He appeared as “Robert Plant” in the HBO Series, “Vinyl” and was also cast in the online series “Adulthood.”  He has acted in numerous films like “The Truth About Lies” (2018), “Ghost in the Graveyard” (2019), “The Overnight (2022),  “Stars Fell on Alabama” (2021), and “Stars Fell Again” (2023).  In addition, he is a musician and model–he plays bass guitar and has frequently performed with his band at venues in the New York area.

 

Laura is an actress and model and has been pursuing her craft in New York for several years. She has gained extensive experience modeling in a wide variety of commercial and fashion photo shoots and has acted in numerous roles for video and film, like “Single in South Beach” (2015), “The Barnicott Hangover” (2017), the award winning feature “Don’t Jump” (2020), and the series “Patricia and Todd” (2023). She exhibits the utmost skill while delivering emotionally authentic performances and always seeks to embrace the markedly distinct aspects of the characters she portrays.
