How will relationships be different–looking back at 2020–and after?

Relationships seem to be distinctly redefined in many arenas on levels not before seen–unexpected, unpredictable. Meeting up on zoom and insta quickly became the “new normal,” while meet-ups for coffee seem to have unwittingly faded into an “old thing.”

At the same time, in 2020, many came together for larger causes, striving for well-being and well-doing, from east coast to west–a crossroads. As places “re-opened” in the midst of the “unknown,” many asked, “What’s next” for this moment? What will the new landscape be, looking back at 2020–and after?

2020 etched an incomparable landscape. An astounding election. Activism echoing landmark eras. Viewpoints at loggerheads. The year unfolded in unparalleled ways. In 2019, 50 was the new 20. In 2023, “80” is hip. The landscape of 2023 is already distinct, complicated and unparalleled.
